The Engineer will be employed by DEKOMTE de Temple to develop the installation and customer support aspects of expansion joint technology.
We are looking for a self-motivated, team player who will use initiative to develop customer relationships and provide inspection, service and installation support for the company?s products in the power generation sector.
Duties include:
·Sales / applications engineering
·Undertaking sales from initial lead to close
·Preparing and presenting solutions to customers
·Assisting in marketing and sales activities
Project management:
·Assisting in preparation of projects plans
·Attending project meetings and customer reviews
·Involvement in detailed technical discussion
Site work:
·Assisting with installation and operation
·Providing overall technical support
·Organising subcontractors and co-ordinating suppliers
General duties:
·Preparing detailed reports of site visits and technical issues
·Use of IT equipment to perform general office duties
·Travelling on a regular basis
The following factors will be considered in selecting the successful candidate:
·Mechanical engineering qualifications or equivalent experience is required
·Excellent communication and presentation skills are critical
·A working knowledge of power stations is needed
·Mechanical design knowledge an familiarity with CAE tools
·Engineering and sales experience would be an advantage
·German speaking would be an advantage
